Emma
Nicole Hasselius 1/30/03 - 2/18/03
Lynn, Andrew, Adam, and I would like to thank everyone
for all their support during the most difficult time of
our lives. Our hearts are heavy with sadness and pain
as only time will tell if we can get through a complete
day without crying. Little Emma was with us but a short
time, but she taught us all a new perspective on life
and how not to take each day for granted. The saying "Tomorrow
is promised to no one" has true meaning in our lives
now, as we all wish for just one more day with Emma. We
never got to see Emma crawl, or play, or run. We never
got to feel Emma snuggle, or sleep on our shoulder, or
give us a hug. We never got to hear Emma laugh, or sing,
or say "I love you." But, we did have 19 days
with our Emma where she taught us to fight. She taught
us to love. And she taught us nothing is as important
as family, friends, and relationships, because without
those we have nothing. It is our family and friends that
got us through it all and for that we are forever grateful!
Emma is not only our little angel, but she is yours too.
Thank you.
