The web is huge and people don't spend enough time just surfing anymore. Ride the crest of things that are only interesting for about a minute and then move on to the next interesting thing. Bookmark it if the interest lasts and then move on. Storm through the web. Some people collect stamps, I collect search engines. Surf on.

My favorite general engine: Vivissimo - fast and freindly - I like the user interface on this search engine, it is intuitive and allows me to refine my searches quickly.

My all time favorite Search Engine: Altavista - Altavista. If I really need something specific I use boolean commands in the altavista search and it rarely lets me down. Among their fancy tools they have the babelfish translator.

My favorite creative use of web coding: Potatoland - one can spend a long time playing around with this site. Through ingenius use of code, Potatoland spins the web into real time virtual art. Absurd.org deserves a honorable mention here.
